Rio de Janeiro, 10 mar ( EFE).-the midfielder for Flamengo Renato Abreu was today undergoing heart surgery to correct arrhythmia detected last week, reported the doctor Serafim Borgin Rio de Janeiro press.

The 33-year-old player will receive Sunday medical discharge from hospital Pro heart of Botafogo, he added.

Another of the doctors who participated in the surgery, Claudio Baldi, stated that the intervention was “a success”.
