rodeo Dental provides dental education to the children of Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, Texas, on August 23, 2011 PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE /- along the spring Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics collaborated with independent school district (ISD) of Brownsville and nurseries in the town to provide an interactive and comprehensive dental education program for children in the community. On an average day the programme came to about 360 small through schools. Towards the end of may the initiative had formed to over 6,000 children in various facilities in the area of Brownsville.

The objective of the programme was to promote dental health and oral hygiene during the formative years, but in a fun and innovative way. Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics staff visited various community colleges with its official mascot, the “MooMoo” cow to do demonstrations of appropriate techniques of oral care and give children materials of dental hygiene.

He taught at the small brushing and flossing techniques, took pictures with the pet and they received information on the formation of cavities. They could “brush” the teeth and the language of Moo, and participated in small sketches, all of this in order to practice the right way to take care of your teeth and gums. At the end of each day, every child received a certificate for having participated in the event.
