The first meeting of translational research in mental and neurodegenerative diseases arrives Madrid.

Madrid, April of 2013. EITEMN (I encounter of translational research in diseases mental and neurodegenerative), is a forum intended to discuss the latest avancesen research, innovation and implementation of drugs and therapies in specific areas of mental and neurodegenerative diseases.

The Congress will take place in the circle of fine arts in Madrid on 14 and 15 June 2013. The EITEMN will be the perfect setting to present the most relevant projects that are developing at the moment in the selected pathologies. This unique event in Spain program will deal with the following pathologies: Alzheimer’s disease, autism, Parkinson’s, depression, dementia, schizophrenia and cognition. In the EITEMN will be given appointments all the parties involved in the processes of research and implementation of drugs or other therapies.

Psychiatrists, neurologists, researchers (preclinical and clinical), pharmacologists, geneticists, biochemists, industry, medical specialists interested in the areas of Geriatrics, general practitioners, etc. as well as mentored student groups will be able to participate in projects, attract researchers and update their knowledge in these specific areas. The main objective of meeting of translational research in neurodegenerative and mental diseases is to create a perfect framework for the communication between the professionals who want to stay up to date in the treatment of major diseases of our society. This Congress will allow them to be updated in terms of therapeutic innovation, learn what is being done, is being developed and where and when will be available in the market. Inthe event will promote the exchange of information as well as training and support to new investigators. In the EITEMN will be exposed theories, new working hypothesis, proposed in current and future projects.

Ultimately the 14 and 15 June 2013 in the I meeting of translational research in mental and neurodegenerative diseases attendees will have the opportunity to find inspiration in new lines of research.
