The future of the health management ” focus the inaugural presentation of the 12 days of AEQCV that will be held in Valencia on 22 and 23 February.

-PwC’s health director, José María Ruiz Ortega, Ignacio Riesgo, President of AEGRIS, Julio J. Fernández Garrido, Faculty of Dega d´Infermeria i podiatry Universitat de València or Juan Jose Tirado Darder will participate as speakers in the scientific sessions.

-The opening ceremony scheduled for Friday, February 22 at 9:30, will be attended by Isabel de Miguel Montoya, head of nursing of the Ministry of health

Valencia, February 2013.- director of health of the multinational consulting firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) Ignacio Riesgo, will start the scientific sessions of the 12 days of surgical nursing of the region of Valencia with a presentation entitled the future the health management ”. Ignacio Riesgo is a Doctor in medicine, and since 1995 has worked as director of consulting teams in health in large international companies.

With this scientific meeting the Association of surgical nursing of the region of Valencia celebrates the Edition number 12 of their Conference which will count with the presence of Isabel de Miguel Montoya, head of nursing of the Ministry of health, at the opening ceremony.

The scientific program includes lectures, presentations and workshops practices that cover topics such as management of the surgical area, research and new developments in the different surgical specialties, etc.

julio J. Fernández Garrido, Faculty of Dega d´Infermeria i podiatry Universitat de València; José Mª. Ruiz Ortega, President of the Spanish Management Association of health risks (AEGRIS) or Angel Gimenez Sierra, Director Manager of the Department of Salud de Dénia (Valencia), are some of the speakers who participate in this scientific meeting which aims to learn about the latest advances in nursing within the surgical specialty.

Juan Jose Tirado Darder, President of the Colegio de Enfermeria de Valencia, will close the scientific sessions with a presentation the 21st century nursing ”.

As in previous editions, the program features an open format to the participation of the attendees, with the presentation of scientific papers in poster and oral format. During the closing ceremony will be awards to the best Oral communication and the best Poster defended.

Sessions, will also benefit from a shopping area that water companies will show the most innovative products related to the surgical nursing.

surgical nursing of the Valencian Community Association was established in January 1995 by the social need for the Valencian Community health of professional nursing, concerned with pre, post-operative care and surgical instrumentation.

Between their aims and objectives is the promotion of the specialty of surgical nursing, promoting scientific study, practice, teaching and research, for a better understanding of the healthcare activity.
