clinical nursing analyses new possibilities for health research in their professional field.

Madrid, December of 2011. New possibilities of development in health research is the theme of the seminar organized by the Directorate of nurses of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos in collaboration with the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with the aim to present the current state and the new opportunities in health research, in the field of nursing and physiotherapy.

Aimed primarily at nurses and physiotherapists, the goal is that any healthcare professional interested to participate in this forum that aims to make known the current lines of research launched in the Centre, available resources and the various research groups already created and that, as a novelty, nursing and physiotherapy are intended to be integratedinitially as a interest group that hopes to become an emerging research group consolidated.

is intended to also examine the relationship between the University and Hospital Research and seek new forms of collaborationtaking advantage of the synergies that may exist and areas of opportunity that the new PhD Royal Decree allows.

Be on the other hand to inform the Institute for health research of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos (IdISSC) community nurse. This entity which brings together the various research groups at the Hospital and that, as a novelty, nursing and physiotherapy are intended to integrate, initially as a interest group, in the hope of becoming an emerging consolidated research group.

The day begins with Dr. Elena Urcelay, Director Conference Health Institute research scientist in the Clinical Hospital San Carlos (IdISCC), which gives out the structure and function of the Institute as well as the opportunities it provides to the community nurse. Participate also newly appointed responsible for the research groups in Cinesioterapia and care of Hospital Clínic, Miriam Robledo and Ismael Ortuño, respectively. Finally, Dr. Enrique Pacheco, Director of the school of nursing, physiotherapy and Podiatry, Complutense University of Madrid, will speak about new regulatory frameworks that research can be developed between the University and the Hospital.
