Wrigley has launched a collaborative program for dental professionals to help promote good oral health habits among their patients in

– useful tools for consultation and multiple articles and scientific studies proving the suitability of chewing gum to prevent some pathologies can be found on the web www.orbitpro.es.

Spain, March of 2012. The Wrigley Company has launched the program Orbit ® pro whose main objective is to support the professional in his role as educator oral health, providing useful tools to educate patients about the importance of maintaining proper oral hygiene.

In the online platform for the program: www.orbitpro.es, professionals can sign up to receive informative materials useful for consultation and product samples.

More than 500 Spanish professionals who have already registered since its recent launch can access multiple scientific articles proving the benefits of chewing gum without sugar as stimulants of salivation, prevention of caries and pathology of diverse elements, as an associate to the dryness of mouth. Chewing sugar-free gum can help reduce the demineralization of tooth, a risk factor in the formation of caries.

Orbit ® pro is part of the Wrigley Oral Healthcare Program, an international programme that is implemented in 47 countries around the world and which counts on the collaboration of entities of the prestige of the FDI World Dental Federation (), IADR (International Association of Dental Research) and ADA (American Dental Association).
