Last month to submit nominations to the communication of the Pfizer Foundation Awards.

-the next June 30, ends the term to apply to the awards in the categories of print media (paper or internet), radio and television

-Awarding the journalistic work that best contributed to reflect the health system compression

Madrid, June of 2012- Saturday, June 30, ends the deadline for submission of nominations to be eligible for the Pfizer Foundation communication Awards 2012 in three categories: newspapers, paper or internet (reports, articles, chronicles or opinion columns), radio and television. These categories are endowed with 5,000 euros each.

These awards are the highest honor of the Pfizer Foundation to those media and professionals of the communication that, most prominently, have contributed to the dissemination of knowledge related to health in the Spanish population.

In this Edition, the jury – composed of the members of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation Pfizer – especially assess the work done by those media professionals who have best contributed to reflect the understanding of the health system.

The work submitted must be original and be published and/or issued, in Spanish, national or regional media from /entre may 1, 2011 up / and on May 31, 2012. To submit nominations, it is essential that applicants complete the form available on the website of the Pfizer Foundation: http://www.fundacionpfizer.org/.

Participants may submit one or several works, up to a maximum of three in each category. For each of them shall fill in the application form. The awards will be granted to specific works: article, interview, opinion column, program …, in any case to the set of a publication or support.

Communication Awards the Pfizer Foundation demonstrates its commitment to health, the quality of life of Spanish society and the recognition of innovation and the promotion of health. Since 2005, throughout its seven editions, a total of 27 professionals of the media, with aggregate of € 300,000 have rewarded.
