More than four thousand for the diagnosis of electrocardiograms, heart problems, were held in the Samu ambulance 192 in all regions of the country.

project â€“ Digital Electrocardiography inserted in Telemedicine strategy â€“ complete one year of operation in the country with important results. The partnership established in November 2009 between the Ministry of health and the Hospital do CoraÃ§Ã£o in SÃ£o Paulo (HCor) quantifies 4,621 electrocardiograms in more than 100 municipalities in all regions of the country through the Mobile customer service emergency (Samu 192), coordinated by the federal Government

.The ambulance from Samu

247 with electrocardiogram apparatus rely on technology developed by the HCor to identify heart problems still in initial care to the patient, made by rescuers of Samu, arriving to the location of the occurrence within 15 minutes on average. Throughout the first year of the partnership, 1,050 were produced reports on amendments studies of small, medium and high severity. The main occurrences were infarction, atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrhythmias, taquicardias and bradicardias (when there is a decrease in heart rate; the opposite of tachycardia).

twenty-two Member States from all regions of the country rely on enhanced support of the Samu ambulance equipped with Tele-Digital Electrocardiography.
