An increase of 66.6% deaths in Mexico H1N1 influenza in a week

Mexico, 17 feb ( EFE).-A total of 135 people were killed has left the influenza AH1N1 in Mexico since the beginning of the year, which represents a 66.6% increase in the number of deaths in a week, according to data disclosed today by the authorities. The total number of deaths from the influenza H1N1 reported by the health secretariat, Mexico to February 9 was 81. The unit pointed out that deaths from the H1N1 variety of flu from January 1 to February 16 represent 91% of 149 deaths by the different types of flu circulating in the country. On the other hand, 4,440 infection with H1N1 flu in the same period, representing 91% of the total of 4.884 cases also have been reported. Currently in Mexico three seasonal influenza – H1N1, AH3N2 and B – virus circulating, but the H1N1 is the predominant this year. Peruvians will join international forensic team working in Honduras
