Unity of action of toilets against the privatization plan of the health of the community of Madrid. Madrid-Local, society, news attention. Madrid, January of 2013- on the evening of January 17 was held, at the College of physicians of Madrid, a gathering that brought together SATSE, CCOO, AMYTS, CSIT-UP, UGT, USAE, AFEM, PATUSALUD and representatives of health professional community colleges. It analysed the situation created in the region of Madrid after the adoption, against the unanimous opinion of the healthcare professionals, of a supposed plan of sustainability which, in reality, through the privatization of management represents the dismantling of the current model of public health. The main conclusion of the meeting was an agreement of unity of action against the outrage to public health by the Government of the community of Madrid, to force the withdrawal of the same. UAB, Bellaterra, Cerdanyola del Vallès, January 2013.- a team of researchers led by UAB has found the first ancient remains of an ovarian teratoma calcified in the pelvis of the skeleton of a woman from the Roman era. The finding confirms the presence in the antiquity of this type of tumour – formed by remnants of tissues or organs-, very difficult to locate in the study of ancient remains. Within the small round mass they have found four teeth and a small bone fragment. Teratomas are usually benign and contain the remains of organic matter, such as hair, teeth, bones and other tissues. Carried out successfully in the Jiménez Díaz Foundation the first transfusion of blood to a fetus inside the womb. – the procedure was performed without complications in two occasions, in the unit of Prenatal diagnosis, showing a clear improvement -the child was born healthy in the Jiménez Díaz Foundation and was discharged three days of birth Madrid, January 2012.- Prenatal diagnosis of the Di Jiménez Foundation unitAZ, directed by Dr. Javier Plaza Arranz, has made first a blood transfusion intrauterine, i.e. on a fetus in the womb the foetus, of 28 weeks, presented a very serious clinical picture, severe fetal hydrops, which causes anemia and retentions of liquids.
