peace, 19 may (EFE).-the Government of Bolivia today signed an agreement with the Medical Association to put an end to a strike in the sector who served 53 days against a decree that increases your workday of six to eight hours, whose application is still in suspense.<\/p>\n
the Minister, Carlos Romero, and the President’s doctors, Alfonso Barrios, signed the agreement, which confirms an earlier decision of the Government to suspend the implementation of the decree to which physicians keep their rejection.<\/p>\n
since the suspension of the Decree does not seem enough, doctors submitted claims against them in national courts or international.<\/p>\n
according to the agreement, claims may be raised in the Court or in the Inter-American Commission on human rights (IACHR) of the Organization of American States (OAS), to find out whether the decree is compatible with international standards.<\/p>\n
