Utrecht (the Netherlands), 26 oct (EFE).-the University hospital of Utrecht (UMC) has applied for the first time in the world the Ultrasound in patients with breast cancer using an advanced technology of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) which allows to visualize with great precision the tumor while occurs treatment.<\/p>\n
research applies the technology known as “MRI-HIFU”, in reference to the acronym in English for the image produced by the MRI, MRI, while HIFU are the acronym equivalent to jets of intense ultrasound used as means to “burn” the cancer.<\/p>\n
