L&rsquo;organisation prestigieuse a \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9e en 1985, apr\u00e8s la mort de la Dr Andreas Gruentzig, le cardiologue et le radiologue allemand qui fait la premi\u00e8re angioplastie ballon avec succ\u00e8s dans le monde, afin d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer le d\u00e9bit sanguin de l&rsquo;art\u00e8re coronaire ocluidas. Le IAGS est un partenariat \u00e9ducatif de m\u00e9decins et chercheurs int\u00e9ress\u00e9s dans le domaine des sciences de la sant\u00e9 cardiovasculaire.
