PSN increases its workforce more than 60% in the last five years

Madrid, 2011-October forecast health national (PSN) has presented its annual report on employment developments in the mutual and the group. The study, which presents results of September to September, analyses the evolution of the past five years.

Results from the same show an employment growth which exceeds 60 percent in the last 5 years. 225 Employees who had the mutual in September 2006 has become the current 358. 133 new jobs arriving new 195 posts if it attends to all of the staff of the group, which reaches 535 workers at the end of September 2011. PSN evolves upstream, with a model of healthy growth that accompanies the lines of business – the portfolio of regular premiums grew up in the same period 70%.

Quality employment

In the past 12 months the mutual has joined 29 employees, all of them with permanent contract. More than 88 percent of the employees of the PSN group are indefinite, in the case of the mutual more than 98 per cent.

Gender, women form the majority in PSN, exceeding 60 percent of the workforce. With regard to the average age of workers, the increase in employment in recent years has served to curb logical ageing suffering templates with a high component of employment stability. Specifically the median age is 41 years old, in the case of the mutual, and 42 if one takes into account all the workers of the group.

Finally the report provides data on the training received by staff. In the past five years nearly 41,000 hours and only in so far for 2011 close to 7,000.

Twelve new offices in 2011

On the other hand, PSN has opened twelve new offices, five of them in professional colleges, this year reaching number 116 in September. The entity continues with its policy of trade expansion and close attention to College professionals. To this figure should be added five transfers for expansion of facilities. The increase in the number of offices dedicated to the care and counselling is continued in PSN – of the 30 that had in 2001 to 116 today-, which underlines the closeness and commitment line with mutualist.
