according to the first Director Manual of Physical activity and health of the Argentina Republic, which was presented yesterday, the ideal is for children and adolescents aged between 5 and 17 to practise at least one hour per day “displacement, games, recreational activities, physical education, scheduled exercises or sports”.
These activities, say experts who drew up the Guide, “generates in the boys a better physical condition;” It helps reduce body fat, the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases; “improves the health of the bones and even prevents the symptoms of depression”.
In adults and the elderly of 65 years, advise to do 150 minutes per week of moderate-intensity aerobic activity, such as walking quickly, mild jogging or bicycling, as it reproduces the newspaper Clarin in today’s Edition.
The manual recommends, in turn, include muscle strengthening activities at least two days a week for the major muscle groups (legs, arms, hips, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders).
