About 500 young people have benefited from the internships offered by the Health Department of the Bank in the past year.

Alzira, August 2012.- A total of 480 young people have benefited from the internships offered by the Health Department of the Bank in the last year. Of these, 67% have been University students and 32% of secondary school students.

This has been possible in virtue of a series of conventions de La Ribera Health Department maintains educational establishments of the region of Valencia and including 25 secondary education centres, such as the IES Arabist Ribelles, Luis Suñer, La Costera, Ausiàs March, Enric Valor, mercy, Federica Montseny or the school of craftsmen, and 8 universities like San Pablo CEU Cardenal Herrera, Valencia University or Polytechnic of Valencia.

As underlined by the director of research and teaching in the Department of health of the Bank, Antonio Guerrero, and the director of human resources, Eduardo Tabernero, these collaboration agreements facilitate a fruitful for students exchange, since it offers them the possibility of accessing a period of training outside the classroom. In this way, the student complements and extends their theoretical knowledge, so it favors its insertion into the world of work, in addition to being an excellent means to let the Health Department know future professionals ”.

In this sense, it is added that the involvement with the training of persons and collaboration with educational institutions is part of the strategic policy of corporate social responsibility of the Health Department of the Bank. The Organization has a clear commitment with the society that serves and, therefore, keen to cooperate actively in the training of future professionals ”.
