Madrid, February 2012.- unemployment is the biggest concern of Spaniards (84.1%) and when it affects the young – who suffer an unemployment rate of 48.5%-, the problem becomes even more alarming. For that reason, at a time like this, training becomes a key element to increase the employability of young people and facilitate the taking contact with the business world.

Adecco advocates the formation of young people without employment of our country and this is actively contributing projects driven from administrations. This initiative (1), provides 360 seats to participate for free in one of the different training modules – specialising in sectors with greater demand for labour – that will culminate with professional practices in companies of reference of our labour market.

These sectors, which are still demanding professional, are health, of human resources, of contact center, the hospitality and commercial distribution. Thanks to the training provided by Adecco, young unemployed people can train as caretakers, health administrative, telemarketers, telemarketers, administrative management of personnel, dependents, shop, floor waiters or waiters of rooms.

Objectives of the learning paths

Adecco, from his experience in the labour market, noted that the guidance and training are the most effective tools for increasing the chances of labor insertion of unemployed youth, therefore, the ultimate goal of formative modules is:

-increase the employability of young people unemployed to strengthen their skills in job search.

-Acquire knowledge and techniques that are trained to function as professionals in their respective sectors.

-Apply the acquired knowledge and make contact with real working environments.

where will develop training modules?

The initiative aims to reach the greatest number of unemployed youth and the widest possible locations. In initial form may participate young people under 30 years old from Madrid, Barcelona, Tenerife, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Zaragoza and La Coruña.

Internship

The chance to do an internship in companies of first level will enable the unemployed take contact with the labour market and trace ” in the company in which to develop its functions.

That is why at the end of theoretical training, 360 participants shall agree to practical professionals (last 120 hours) that will allow them to apply in the context of real work what they learned in the theoretical training.

These practices will be held in the main companies in the health sector (hospitals, clinics, homes for the elderly and day centres), human resources, contact center, hotel and commercial distribution.

Requirements

-Be unemployed and registered in the offices of INEM as a job seeker.

-Be less than 30 years old.

-Be Spanish or foreigner with legal residence and in force in Spain (in possession of a DNI or NIE).

– Preferably not having obtained a university degree or for higher level vocational training.

-Have a desire to learn and develop professionally in booming sectors.

-Have access to a computer and an Internet connection (for some itineraries) all interested parties can find more information and register here as of February 10, places are limited.
