Barcelona, February 2013.- Almus pharmaceutical has expanded its range of generic drugs with Escitalopram Almus launch 15 to 20 mg in packages of 28 coated tablets with film.

Escitalopram, Cipralex ® (Lundbeck) Bioequivalent, is used for the treatment of depression (major depressive episodes) and anxiety disorders (with or without agoraphobia panic disorders), social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Escitalopram Almus belongs to a group of antidepressants called selective inhibitors of the reuptake of serotonin (SSRIs).
