Asepeyo grants social benefits by 1.24 million euros in the community of Madrid.

Commission of special benefits of the mutual has awarded during the 2011 aid to a total of 669 workers of the community of Madrid who have suffered an accident at work or an occupational disease.

Madrid, February 2012. The Committee on benefits special Asepeyo, body with equal representation of mutual companies and unions, has increased by 4.67% the amount intended for workers who have suffered an accident at work or an occupational disease during the year 2011 in the community of Madrid, with a total of 669 granted aid. The amount that has promoted this management has been 1,247.636,34 euros.

This body, which promotes social integration and professional support by granting financial aid to persons with a disability caused by an accident at work or occupational disease, grant aid, optional, which differ from the regulatory benefits afforded by Social Security.

Can this aid be allocated, inter alia, to cover aspects as economic compensation for loss of income, the costs of adaptation and rehabilitation of private homes, the adequacy of own vehicles or travel expenses by the relatives of the injured during their treatment as well as the realization of occupational courses or training for professional improvement.

To assist the injured or their beneficiaries in the procedures carried out for the application of this aid, Asepeyo has the support of more than 40 social workers and professionals who are experts in the care network of the mutual, nationwide

Asepeyo special benefits Committee has awarded national aid for an amount of 11.680.320 euros10.51% more than in the year before to a total of 7,208 cases. This figure, which represents an increase of 24,42% over the year 2010.
