Asepeyo presents emergency medical guide in traumatology.

this initiative establishes how to act in situations of emergency trauma.

Spain, November 2011- Asepeyo has presented the emergency medical guide in Traumatology, drawn up by residents of Coslada Asepeyo Hospital Labour Medicine under the direction of Javier Gutiérrez Guisado, head of the service of internal medicine at Hospital team and resident medical tutor.

The guide aims to establish protocols and guidelines for the different situations of medical emergencies related to the trauma, based on the experience of the Department of internal medicine and occupational medicine in the Coslada Asepeyo Hospital residents.

The guide is eminently practical and is divided into six modules, which include the main pathologies that may occur and that require a rapid response by health professionals, pretending to be a useful tool for training and information for physicians on the mutual and other related health centres.

Javier Gutierrez, project coordinator, has assured that ‘ guide complies with the initial objectives, such as unifying the protocols to emergencies, which was a work with the residents of the Hospital and that constituted a reviewed document in line with advances in medicine ’.

Medical emergencies in trauma guide is accessible for all practitioners of medicine in the health Portal of Asepeyo.
