These devices provide intensive detoxification and addiction treatment to patients who cannot be treated outpatients and require a residential scheme, as well as a day centre to complete their therapeutic process. The first residential treatment centre to addicts (CRTD1), launched a year ago, has 40 places for entry, including places for children, with circuit and separate spaces, and other 20 places in day Centre scheme, so that 60 patients can receive treatment simultaneously. The community of Madrid will allocate, over the next three years, 8.1 million euros to finance the activity of these centres.
