Experts are calling for an active role of the professional in the health care reform. believe that the population is unprotected with the Royal Decree of urgent measures for sustainability. La Coruña, July of 2012- the last Conference on the sustainability of the national system of health (SNS), organized by the Royal Academy of medicine and surgery of Galicia and the Foundation Ad Qualitatem, served to analyse in depth the Royal Decree 16/2012 of urgent measures to ensure the sustainability of the national health system and improve the quality and safety of their benefitsrecently approved by the Government. The speakers at the meeting criticized the standard errors because, in his opinion, the population is unprotected, and because they believe it is improvised and work done without taking into account the opinion and experience of practitioners. This is the third meeting scheduled within the cycle of conferences promoted by the Royal Academy of medicine and Ad Qualitatem Galician to address an issue which is of concern to the professional: the viability of the NHS. Renowned representatives of the health professional group have been involved in these three debates.
