The echo Foundation (excellence and quality of Oncology) formed by 24 heads of service of the main Spanish hospitals has detailed that in the last decade have increased 13 percent deaths by cancer, which affect one in four Spanish. According to Carlos Camps, President of the echo Foundation, we know that the incidence of cancer is increasingly more and unfortunately, at the moment, we can not stop her. However, that we can move forward in treatments and the search for new avenues of research, to help improve the quality of life for these patients. For this we need resources, investment and a greater commitment of administrations and the private sector for fight against cancer ”.

In this sense, from ECO recalls that the Spanish cooperative groups are at the international forefront of research into cancer but have little support.
