Uruguayan authorities promise to restore confidence to the sector health following the case of nurses
Montevideo, 26 mar (EFE).-the main political and the Uruguayan authorities of public and private health institutions pledged today to work together to restore confidence to a very damaged system in the case of nurses who killed at least 15 of their patients. In a meeting convened by the National Board of health (Junasa), all actors of the health of the country considered imperative to strengthen public trust in all the institutions and pledged to make “maximum efforts to rehabilitate and strengthen” the same “as a superior in health care value”. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of health, Jorge Venegas, who called for a “speedy recovery” of belief in the health system and pointed by this work will require the joint effort of the Ministry of public health, both public effectors, private, workers and users.
