Communiqué of the Murcian society of General physicians and family

Release of the Murcian society of General physicians and family Murcia, March 2012.- following negotiations carried out in the region of Murcia (whose first step has been the increase of 37.5 hour workweek), and the different views expressed thereon, the Murcian society of General physicians and family (SEMG – region of Murcia) wants to express that: -La care primary (AP) in the region of Murcia has returned to be affected, in part because of the inconsistency of the groups representing workers. AP professionals (in all categories) have been without representation in the sectoral table: must be the professionals of the first level of care which both defend the need for improvements required by the PA as the situation of the workers she we do (concerned to see how excessive red tape)(, the increase in demand, the lack of replacements, etc. saturate every day more consultations… more than note that our purchasing power continues to decline – already enduring a loss of 20-25% from 2010). -Our scientific society defends first and foremost care quality and equity to patients, which continues to be the ultimate goal of any claim. And, for this reason: – regretted that the Administration’s actions seem aimed only cuts by cutting, ignoring the development of other guidelines to boost the economy of health – encourages all primary care physicians not to forget that the first thing is...

The Herschel Observatory close to “unexplored” places of the universe

Paris, 21 mar ( EFE).-“cold, distant and unexplored universe” places are now visible to humans for the first time thanks to the mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) Herschel, today underlined its director of science and robotic exploration, Alvaro Gimenez Cañete. European Observatory Herschel, the largest telescope ever sent into space, is a more “powerful and advanced” continuation of the ISO satellite, was launched from French Guiana in 2009 and is able to make its measurements “far infrared”, explained the Spanish expert in an interview with Efe. Is a program, he added, which is allowing better understanding the birth and the formation of stars and galaxies, processes that occur at low temperatures and which correspond to the first phase of its existence, until they suffer nuclear fusions. “Would be pretentious to believe that we can understand the universe by the light of the range of optical, sensitive to high temperatures,” stressed Giménez. The Herschel telescope, he emphasized, is a revolution, because you can work less than 200 degrees celsius and can see that which escapes the vision at other temperatures. Between the progress made thanks to this mission, the scientist cited discoveries the existence of unknown molecular clouds and that galaxies evolved over cosmic time much faster than it was believed. Also highlighted findings “unexpected”, but of the utmost importance, as the water contained in the comet Hartley...

Spanish School awarded in the United States.UU. in “zero gravity” for a science project

Washington, 21 mar (EFE).-two Spanish students today have experienced the same feeling that the astronauts from the international space station (ISS) in an environment with zero gravity, as a reward to the draft submitted to the contest YouTube Space Lab, that could also be taken to the space complex. Also, Ban Ki-moon said to produce sufficient food for a population in rapid growth requires the international community to ensure a sustainable use “of the greatest limited resource” in the world: water. The UN Chief warned that “water scarcity is increasing and the rate of growth of agricultural production has slowed down” and that this, of course, affects above all “to poor farmers in the low-income countries, which are the most vulnerable and the least able to adapt”. “Ensuring sustainable food and water security for all will require the transfer of appropriate water technologies, the promotion of small food producers and the conservation of essential ecosystem services”, said Ban, who then urged to make “policies that promote the right to water for all”., “water...
