release: Spanish society of urgencies and emergencies of Madrid (Madrid SEMES) Madrid, June of 2012- in reference to recently published in various media, on the support of the President and Vice-President of the Federation of Spanish CientÃfico-Médicas associations (FACME) to the establishment of an area of specific training (ACE) of emergency, we wish to express the following clarifications: is striking the doctors Bajo Arenas and Macaya, President and Vice-President of FACME, have a criterion formed on an ACE of emergency and not on genetics and child psychiatry. In the latter case claiming that their scientific societies, for not being part of FACME are not involved. Own statutes of FACME Constitution, have prevented the society of urgencies and emergencies (SEMES) can also be integrated into FACME and, in this sense, the criterion for comment on matters of the medical urgencies and emergencies is also indicated, ignore the criterion based on the legislation and SEMES scientific evidence, which is integrated in EUSEM (European Society for Emergency Medicine) and the own UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists), in the latter case as section of full capacity to advise and make recommendations to the Commission and the European Parliament on this matter.
