Bogota, 7 sep (EFE).-the issues concerning energy, health and the environment will be the points to be addressed in the 14th neighbourhood Commission of Colombia and Panama, which will be installed in Bogota Thursday, reported today the Chancery Colombian.

The Commission will be installed by the director of Territorial sovereignty and development Fronterizo de Colombia, Francisco Coy, director of policy outside of the Chancery Panamanian, Ambassador Alfredo Castillero Hoyos, and the representative of the Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF), Hernando Arciniegas.

A statement from the Colombian Foreign Ministry requires that the Commission will continue to progress in the project of interconnection between both countries.

The Commission will address the recovery of the Katíos National Park (Colombia), the creation of a protected area in the Caribbean for the conservation of endangered species in both countries, border area as well as the proposed binational aqueduct Sapzurro – the honey.

Health, strengthen cross-border cooperation through a project of epidemiological surveillance, while communications establish commitments to share reports of theft of mobile phones in both countries.

Also expect progress in the project of electricity interconnection between Colombia and Panama, as well as effective mechanisms for the control of boats circulating waters bordering.

By his side, the Sub Commission on migration, Labor Affairs and judicial cooperation will work issues as a cross-border displacement, fight the against and judicial cooperation drugs.
