Madrid, 2011-October the head of administration of Google Spain, hope Ibáñez, will participate in the II Congress national CENTAC of accessibility technologies, organized by the National Centre for technology accessibility (CENTAC), to be held on October 18 in the monastery of La CartujaCultural Center of contemporary art in Seville.

Hope Ibáñez will be accompanied by Manuel Tuset, Google Enterprise and partner Geomercados fundadador expert, who shall submit to the rapporteur. In addition, attendees can enjoy presentations by Pablo Pineda, the first entitled University in Europe with Down syndrome; Francisco Vañó, spokesman of the PP in the Commission for the policies integrals of the disability of the Congress of deputies in the last legislature and Deputy in the eighth and ninth legislatures; and Gonzalo Rivas, director general of people with disabilities of the Council for equality and Welfare Social of the Board of Andalusia.

During the Congress, will develop a series of roundtables which will address, inter alia, the development process of products available in the sector of new technologies, since that will detect existing needs until its integration into the market, as well as the market accessibility and tools to meet him, among other topics.

Will the tables include, among other institutions, El Corte Inglés; Vodafone; Telefónica; the Ministry of health, Social policy and equality; Inteco, Technosite, La Caixa, the Spanish Association of professionals of Universal accessibility (ASEPAU); as well as Value Creation companies, Ablah, Code Factory and Nuance solutions, among others.

In the course of the Congress also intervene Isabel Martínez, general Secretary of Social policy and consumption of the Ministry of health, Social policy and equality; Jaime Alejandre Martínez, general director of the coordination of sectoral policies on disability; Cayo Luis Pérez Bueno, Cermi President, and Juan Luis Quincoces, CEO of CENTAC.

Congressional Honor Committee is chaired by h.m. Queen Sofia and composed by the Minister of health, Social Affairs and equality, Leire Pajin; the Secretary general for Social policy and consumption, Isabel Martínez; the President of the Vodafone Foundation, José Luis Ripoll; the Technical Secretary general of the Presidency of Telefónica, S.A., Luis Abril; the President of the Cermi, Cayo Luis Pérez Bueno; the President’s eleven and its Foundation, Miguel Carballeda; and the director of the Fundación Ramón Areces, Raymond Pérez-Hernández and Torra.

CENTAC

The National Center on accessibility technologies (CENTAC) was created with the aspiration of the common reference for all those involved in the design and implementation of technologies of the information society focused on disability.

Its objective is to promote the development of business, industrial level accessibility technologies and services, in order to improve the lives of persons with disabilities and their families through new technologies and the technologies of the information.

CENTAC is structured as a private foundation with a privileged location between the operators of services, the Spanish industry, the Administration, the associative and the users themselves.

The Centre is an example of public-private partnership, to count in its patronage with entities such as the Ministry of health, Social policy and equality, Royal patronage on disability, El Corte Inglés, Fundación Once, Spain Vodafone Foundation, Telefónica, the Centre of reference state of Personal autonomy and technical AIDS (CEAPAT)the Committee Spanish of representatives of people with disabilities (CERMI), the Centre of reference state for disability and dependence (CRE) and the National Institute of communication technologies (INTECO).
