Graduate in nursing in primary care (Cadi 2)

Barcelona, February 2012.- the Institute for continuing education of the University of Barcelona (IL3-UB) has presented a new edition of his graduate in nursing care Primary (Cadi 2) with start in April 2012, and constituting one of the programs of reference in the continuous training for nursing professionals who pursue their daily activities in the centres of primary care (AP).

The graduate pursues the constant updating of knowledge and improvement of competencies and skills of nurses for its daily practical implementation of care and cures nurses at Community level, in order to guarantee correct technical and medical care to the patient.

In this sense, the program directed by Anna Maria Pulpón Segura, Director of the University School of nursing at the University of Barcelona, and Montserrat Solà Pola, Professor collaborator in the same EUI of the UB, raises and solves different care situations facing the AP nurses from clinical cases, in its day to day.

In addition, the course, taught in Catalan and with start in April 2012, occurs in form distance in response to the needs detected by a large number of professionals in the sector who wish to update their knowledge but have difficulties accessing, for different reasons, the face-to-face training.

The postgraduate degree in nursing in primary care (Cadi 2) proposes a specialization in the field of nursing in the area of primary care and provides an opportunity for progress in the professional career of the nurse.
