Madrid, 2011-June within the framework of the international volunteer week I – Give & Gain Day – which will be held from 15 to June 24, ONG´s and companies put in place social projects simultaneously in more than 20 countries. It’s a global movement to promote corporate volunteering as a key tool for investment in the community, as part of the CSR strategy of organizations. It is an initiative driven by Business in the Community taking into account that it is the European year of volunteering, organized in Spain by Forética and founding, with the collaboration of the European Commission and the support of MSD.

MSD is one of the companies involved with volunteers in programs such as: sure path to school ” or friends forever ”. As says Regina Revilla, Director of external relations of MSD, promote a culture of active collaboration, educate employees about the social needs of other groups and allow them to discover new values to put into practice the solidarity that makes possible a more holistic people development, is the real objective of corporate volunteerism ”.

in particular, with the NGO volunteers Madrid, MSD employees restore a bridge whereby daily walk some 60 children to school and, on the other hand, a specific activity will be organized to spend a day with children at risk of social exclusion as part of the Foundation dreaming awake.
