Open the deadline to apply for funding projects of r & d in major facilities scientific-technological national and international.

Spain, November 2011- Thursday 17 past has opened up the deadline for the submission of applications for funding of r & d in major installations Científico-Tecnológicas national and international projects. The aim is to encourage technological training and specialization of the staff of the Spanish companies in scientific bodies.

Projects may develop in those scientists who Spain contributes and bodies with which the Centre for Industrial technological development (CDTI) maintains outstanding collaborations. For its development, the companies emplazarán own staff or new recruitment to scientific installations, at that time, having vacant posts. The graduates will benefit from a period of training between 6 and 12 months of stay, over an additional year in the applicant company.

The selected projects are eligible for a partially refundable aid, up to a maximum of 75% of the total approved budget. Until March 2012 inclusive and subject to budgetary availability, could also receive a bonus of 10 percentage points in the form of stretch-refundable up to the 85% of the budget. Beneficiaries

You will benefit from this aid any Spanish company with capacity to carry out projects in the field of the needs of the large scientific facilities both nationally and internationally.

The projects will last between 18 and 24 months and maximum budget of each of them will be 150,000 euros.

To obtain these subsidies, each company must present a project of r & d, mainly in any of the following lines:

1. Electrical, electronic and telecommunications engineering.

2. Mechanical and materials engineering.

3. Optical Engineering and optomecánica.

4. Magnetic systems, vacuum and cryogenics and

5. Remote and robotic handling systems.

Given the link between this initiative and the needs of the scientific facilities, the granting of the aid must be revalidated by the Agency in question, both as regards the development of the project as to the suitability of the candidate to the regulations in force in each installation.

Requirements of the graduate

The graduates must meet the following requirements:

-be Spanish or residing legally in Spain.

-Be in possession, at the time of the application, for a university degree higher official (Bachelor, engineer, architect or degree) that is appropriate for the development of specialization at the International Centre, and that such qualification or degree was obtained in the 6 years prior to the date of the application.

-Possess a good knowledge of the language, both oral and written English. content and submission of applications the processing of applications is carried out by applying telematics available on the website of the CDTI

in the application, the company shall complete a questionnaire which will reflect the data of the company and the detailed budget of the project. CDTI will make a selection of applications based on the assessment of r & d. subsequently draft, among the projects selected by the Centre, scientific agencies elect those who can carry out in their facilities and that candidates meet appropriate requirements for each agency.
