Slimming according to a study from the University of Nottingham (UK) directed by Rd. Emma j. Stevenson in a small group of women would have been to demonstrate that a breakfast rich in fiber and low glycemic index helps burn more fat.

The Glycemic (GI) and glycemic index indicates once ingested food when it increases the amount of sugar in blood because it is so important to the IG? why If a food has a high rate means that it will make the sugar level rise in the blood and that this sugar to become glycogen and fat.

In this study some women took a diet of IG bass and more fiber, i.e. muesli and milk, peach, Apple-yogurt juice ” (3.5 gr. fiber), whereas high GI and less fiber corn flakes with milk, sweetened drink and bread with jam ” (1.5 gr. of fiber). These women were around 25 years, and three hours after breakfast walked 1 hour.

Women with a high GI breakfast burned 3.4 gr of fat, while the IG low burned 7.4 gr. In addition, when switched them the breakfast women told that breakfast of rich in fiber and low IG had smugly more.
