Madrid, 2012-may the Group Geroresidencias,specializing in the care of elderly in residential homes, day centres andhome care, in partnership with the Council of community nursingValenciana, the Valencian society of Geriatrics and Gerontology and companyBiomedical Pfizer, has launched a programme of promotion of theurinary Continence in elderly, as an alternative to thehigh use of absorbents and empapadores in this population profile.These measures are integrated within the initiative 2012,12 goals, initiated bythe Geroresidencias group and aimed at promoting the autonomy of personsThis and other aspects of their care and health elderly.

the campaign to all elderly centres andresidences, users, families and society in general, committed by thedefence of the rights and freedoms of older persons, respect totheir individuality and the promotion of their autonomy.
