La Fundación Affinity rewards Ciempozuelos by its animal assisted therapy.

Spain, January of 2013. Downtown San Juan de Dios de Ciempozuelos, Madrid, has been recognized by the Affinity Foundation for his work developing the animal assisted therapy. This award was given on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Foundation, during a ceremony attended by numerous guests and in which is recalled the important role that performs such entity in pursuit of the dissemination of the benefits of pets in human health.
La gala, amena y emotiva, fue presentada por Andreu Buenafuente y en ella intervinieron diferentes personalidades del mundo político, de la Fundación y el presidente de su patronato, José Luis Doreste.
In addition, and on the occasion of this celebration, became different as six awards categories, among which was the recognition of the trajectory of an institution that works studying and promoting the benefits of animals as a source of health, through the assisted therapies with pets. In it, and among the fifty-three that currently collaborate with Affinity, was elected the center of San Juan de Dios de Ciempozuelos, by programs that has been conducting since 2006.
San Juan de Dios professionals thanked Esperanza Gil, adiestradora of Agilcan who, after his period of teaching in the basic training of animals, in a totally altruistic way, continues collaborating and participating in new projects. The latter, for example, consisting of the development of groups of Agility. Also thanked all colleagues that, in one way or another, contribute to the project copper way, recalling to the guys ” their schedules, ilusionando much or more than them in the preparation and arrangement of material or facilities, collaborating in different groups or assisting in the maintenance of kennels.
