The COIBA requested a meeting with the Minister Carmen Castro for the incidents to the Group of nurses in the past few days.

as published in press, on 14 December the President of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Mr. José Ramón Bauzá, met with the President of the General Nursing Council (CGE)Mr. maximum González Jurado, at a hearing in which the Consellera de Salut, family were also present i Benestar Social, Ms. Carmen Castro and the director of the health service, Mr. Juan Jose Bestard.

At that meeting, despite having discussed and agreed matters of great interest for professional nurses of this community and the people who care, such as nurse prescribing, and other health, social and school projects not was called illustrious College official of nurses and nurses of them Illes Balears.

The Governing Board of the COIBA regrets, similarly, and finds anadmisible, any ban, coercion or any measures which fall outside the legal framework of the institutional relationships and the reason.
