The Conference on sustainability of the health system organized by the Bamberg Foundation, AMYTS calls for greater participation of doctors and an exclusive negotiating table.

Spain, January 2012- last Wednesday had been held in the Palacio de Congresos of Madrid the General Conference on the sustainability of the health system in Spain ”, organized by the Bamberg Foundation. A shot of contact to facilitate convergence between all public and private actors towards a great pact state that is not only political but must be also necessary and basically civil. A written or tacit agreement in which strongly involving industry, practitioners, patients, public administrations and health managers and that nobody can feel excluded or discriminated against.

The Conference has had multiple interventions. Among them, the general Secretary of the Association of doctors and Titulados Superiores de Madrid (AMYTS), Julián Ezquerra Gadea, raised in reform or Refoundation required by the national health system to ensure their sustainability, within a framework of quality and equity of services that the Spaniards will be able to financeAMYTS considers that the role should be given to the medical professionals, which credited the most extensive and complete training, clinical practice approved the professionals from the most developed countries, and assume the highest share of responsibility. To this end, within the framework of the SNS, all the efforts of AMYTS are intended for:

1 modify the structures of governance and participation to provide doctors for greater presence and participation in decision-making centres bodies health.

2 Strengthen participatory addresses involving medical clinics as management. both decisions

3 Establish a framework for the optional direct and unique relationship with the political superstructure of the SNS.
