La Fundació Puigvert offers the first Masters degree in Andrology carried out in Spain.

Barcelona, 2011-October La Fundació Puigvert initiates the first master in Andrology which will take place in Spain. The course aims to provide competences pathophysiology of the male reproductive system at different stages of life, appropriate diagnostic methods for the classification and the General principles of medical and surgical treatment of diseases that affect male reproduction and sexuality.

This master in Andrology, created to fill the vacuum that’s currently in the academic training of an area of knowledge in full expansion, will begin on February 2, 2012, will last for two years and consists of four modules and end of compulsory master work. The majority of teachers belong to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Fundació Puigvert and other centres of national prestige.

The course is targeted to endocrinologists, gynecologists and urologists and dermatologists who have completed the two years, will have acquired the necessary training to deal with disturbances of male development, deficits androgen and its complications, sexual identity disorders, sexually transmitted infectionssexual dysfunction, fertility problems, male contraception and genital morphological alterations.

Classes are taught at the headquarters of the Fundació Puigvert in Barcelona and will be in Spanish. The period of registration for the master’s degree in clinical Andrology is already open and will end on 30 October.
