The school official of doctors of Baleares (Comib), through its President, Antoni Bennasar, has asked the President of the Balearic Government, José Ramón Bauzá, affecting the spending cuts “not health benefits”, above all, “to the most important” and highlighted the important role of the institution to “guarantee a professional service of quality, since the self-control of the medical profession to citizens”.

On the other hand, Bennasar has defended the important role that the Comib develops in the training of professionals, enhanced recently with the implementation underway Patronat Científic of the Comib and the scientific Assesoria.

Also, the protection function to the registered medical practitioner, through the Foundation Board of orphans and Social protection or the PAIME programme, has been another of the lines of action Bauzá-exposed by the President of the College of physicians.
