Logroño, 2 Dec (EFE).-the President of the Rioja, Pedro Sanz, has described “frivolous request” the request of the Ministry of health to ensure that the Community return to primary and specialized health care for the patients of the Rioja Alavesa, and has announced that his Government “will not accept” this application.

Sanz, in statements to reporters this afternoon, added that this requirement is “the only contribution” made by the Minister in functions, Leire Pajin, in relation to this matter, which has been described as “very sad”.

The President has said that his Government has one month to accept it or not this requirement and has explained that in the communication to La Rioja the Ministry notes that there is the option of going to a contentious-administrative proceeding if the Riojan Executive does not accept.
