The UMA and Ortoplus created the first software dental in Spanish for the treatment and diagnosis of patients.

Spain, November 2012.- for the first time Ortoplus signs an agreement with the UMA (University of Malaga) through the OTRI (Office of transfer of the research results) for the creation of the first dental software Spanish that will revolutionize the treatment and diagnosis in orthodontics and place to Malaga at the forefront of health and technology.

The work team of the UMA which shall carry out the project will be members of the Group SICUMA (systems of cooperative information of the University of Malaga): Antonio Guevara Plaza (Dean Faculty of tourism of Málaga), Enrique Dominguez Merino (Professor hired Doctor in AMU) and Carlos Rossi Jiménez (Professor of languages and computer systems).

Development of the project

The project aims to put into operation a technological platform for Ortoplus that facilitates the management of patients and clinical cases. This is intended to improve the diagnosis and treatment as well as expedite the process and preparation of their respective treatments.

El proyecto tendrá una duración aproximada de entre cuatro y cinco meses a lo largo de los cuáles, Ortoplus desplegará un dispositivo de trabajo que colaborará con la Universidad de Málaga para la consecución del proyecto.
