The service of Anesthesiology and resuscitation of the University Hospital of the Southeast has published a study in the European Journal of Anaesthesiology journal where he analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the use of two types of laryngeal masks with gastric access for ventilation in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery.

Development of non-invasive techniques

The study is part of the measures and procedures put in place by the University Hospital of the Southeast in anesthesia to minimize the use of invasive techniques in the recovery after surgery, especially in the respiratory tract, while maintaining the safety of the patient.
