The University of Seville and the MSD pharmaceutical company sign a collaboration agreement for the development of activities of training.

Seville, December of 2011- the University of Seville and the MSD pharmaceutical company (known as Merck & Co.) (in United States and Canada), leader of global health working to contribute to global health, have signed a collaboration agreement for the Organization and development of training activities in the health sector, through the joint organization of master’s degrees, courses and conferencesseminars, colloquia and other activities aimed at ensuring broader and more complete interaction between academia and society.

The agreement between the University of Seville and MSD will also put at the service of university education, researchers and health and biomedical experts associated with the University institution most advanced sector information via the digital platform UNIVADIS ®, the portal of reference for practitioners of Medicine (MSD ownership). With more than half a million doctors registered in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada is a pioneer in training services to this group, to respond to their needs of accredited education quality, thus enabling them to provide better treatment to their patients and better health outcomes.

With this agreement, the MSD pharmaceutical company shows its commitment for quality training of medical professionals, complemented with its marked commitment with research aimed at new ways of treatment and improvements in the quality of life of people.
