Bilbomática launches NAIA Healthcare as a tool for innovation in the care of nursing

Spain, August of 2011- the past 20 of July, Bilbomática has made the national launch of its software “NAIA healthcare.” “Tool for innovation in nursing”, version 1.0.

NAIA comes to fill a gap in the market of software health management for nursing care in all its fields of work, hospital general and day, primary care, specialized hospitalization, telemedicine, etc.

NAIA is characterized by:

-a flexible and dynamic system for the management and planning of nursing care

-establish a methodological organization of nursing work and properly integrating with other existing sanitary applications. Such integration allows to obtain information about the patient as: allergies, personal history, usual treatment, medical orders, diet and programming surgical.

-Mostar administrative information of the episode on the map of beds and in the list of patients admitted, through a process of integration with the system of admission. This allows nursing staff to allocate their patients in a quick and simple way, and can make the management of beds.

-use generated care plans following the methodology of the model of Virginia Henderson. Allowing you to work with plans of care standardized according to the diagnosis and the patient’s clinical status. These care plans can identify, adapted to the needs of each patient.

-complement the data necessary for the care of the patient with a set of records which include: data entry, constants and other parameters, control of intakes, registration wounds, ulcers, accidents, devices, etc.

-include a set of scales of assessment (risk of pressure ulcers)(, risk of accidents, assessment of pain in adult and child, neurological scales) whose completion offers results that can be displayed in different sections of the system

-have their own agenda of work for each professional group. The agendas of work show care to each patient and are configured by means of the activities arising from the plan of care and orders medical.

-at the end of the process of hospitalization airs report of continuity of care in order to ensure the care at other levels of care health.

-have indicators of quality and management of nursing care

– Ensure the confidentiality of the data of the patient to stay clearly registered the copyright of all actions undertaken and to establish a level of access to information according to the type of user and role (physician, nurse, administration,…).
