Madrid, 1 Apr (EFE).-the Deputy of IU and spokesman parliamentary in the Health Commission of the Congress, Gaspar Llamazares, said today that both the Ministry of health, social services and equality, and its owner, Ana Mato, “have demonstrated in this short space of time a worrying political weakness”.

Thus Llamazares has referred to the performance of the new Minister during the first hundred days of the popular executive action, in which, in his view, “is being revealed in sharp way that health care is not a political priority for this Government or the PP”.

“Is thus repeated a similar scenario to that held the legislature passed with the PSOE, which is sadder still if we take into account the great challenges that face”, it has been argued in a press release.

For Llamazares, Mato carried out its work with a “total slack” on the “big” requirements and demands placed on the table by the millions of users of health care, professionals of the sector and certain groups social and business linked to the same.

Member of Parliament of IU has warned that “this remarkable lack of initiative by the Minister is added, moreover, that his Department is politically on the defensive, the worst thing that can happen in a Ministry of these characteristics”, has tempered.

“More to launch proposals constructive and efficient in what seem to be dedicated is to stop goals and try to stop the blows coming to them from the autonomous communities, which are acting at the margin of the authority and the real powers that has the Ministry of health”, has been completed.
