The pharmacovigilance, towards a better professional training.

Spain, July 2012.- continuous changes in pharmacovigilance are a challenge for the pharmaceutical industry professionals. Increasingly, requires professionals with knowledge of large, capable of maintaining up to date in this field. These professionals are essential to various departments (records, marketing, clinical trials, etc.), industry that relate more or less directly to the functions of pharmacovigilance.

To overcome this challenge, specific training in the field is essential. The Institute of training continuing of the Universitat de Barcelona (IL3-UB), leader in training for the industry, presents a new edition of the postgraduate in pharmacovigilance . The programme, blended, will inaugurate the new edition next November.

This postgraduate is oriented to professionalisation in this area. Comprehensively addresses all aspects related to pharmacovigilance, not only in theory but also providing examples and case studies.

Taking into account this orientation completes, provides a global vision and specific European legislation and Spanish in pharmacovigilance, analyzing problems and solutions involving the day-to-day running of the pharmacovigilance professionals from a practical point of view. Ultimately, it provides the basis to implement studies Pharmacoepidemiologic and security studies, from the hand of related subject matter experts.
