pioneer course form e-learning: Gerontology care person-centered

In the framework of the series of training actions that have begun last March, Matia Innova and the Asmoz Foundation with the collaboration of the Basque Government organized the first course form e-learning: La Gerontology attention focused on the person ”.

He directs and teaches the psychologist, an expert in social gerontology and speech therapy, Teresa Martínez Rodríguez deepen over himself in training on the innovative model.

They offer training e-learning, in order to be able to reach the greatest number of students with geographical limits and/or temporary barriers. E-learning is an excellent tool that can help the students not only learn new concepts but also to strengthen cocimientos. Allows, also, flexibility and autonomy, both times and the Organization of the course.

Objectives

-provide conceptual elements and methodological alternatives that will allow progress towards a care oriented to the quality of life of people and their rights.

-Note new ways of working in the centres and services in which technical teams are involved and build together with the people users, and where families, interventions according to the model and to the realities of each context care.

-oriented, give clues about methodological options and tools to help build plans of care to each individual user.

-generate reflection surrounding best practices and the risks of the everyday interventions, so that there is consistency between the guiding principles of Gerontology and the professional speech as a dynamic context of social interaction.

-professionals of direct care for older people (psychologists, social workers, pedagogues as, auxiliary, social educators, gerocultures, medical workers, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, etc.)

-professionals interested in geriatrics and Gerontology sector who want to deepen in models of attention focused on the person.

-responsible and managers of centres and services geriatric.
