HARO (LA RIOJA), 20 (EUROPA PRESS)

The President of the Government of La Rioja, Pedro Sanz, has reiterated this morning the need to “compensation”, that comes “well the country’s Basque, well of the Spain Government, without which the Rioja could not provide more services” health. And is that the health services provided to Basques “far outweigh” to which the Basque country offers to Rioja.

Sanz has made these statements to questions from journalists after meeting with the mayors of Haro. It should be recalled that the health controversy broke out a few months ago when the Government of La Rioja ceased to attend patients in several Alava municipalities that went regularly to the hospital San Pedro de Logroño given its proximity.

The leader of the Riojan Executive also pointed out that “there is an agreement with Castile-León, whereby citizens of Soria and Burgos come to La Rioja” and that Rioja [in less number] “[go to Castile-León].
