The Department of health of Torrevieja collaborates with SOS Children’s villages in the recruitment of new volunteers.

Torrevieja, March of 2013- during the last week, a team of volunteers of SOS Children’s villages, carried out duties of information and recruitment of members and volunteers at the facilities of the Hospital of Torrevieja. The direction of Torrevieja Center opened its doors to this group through the installation of an information point in the area of external consultations.

For a week, this group conducted work of information, offering patients and their families the possibility to collaborate as a volunteer, participating directly in the projects that this international organization is carrying out. In addition, those interested patients could become partners and deposit their donations; working in this way help to children who need it most, so those little ones that required, it can grow in a protective family environment, either in their own family or a family SOS inside one of the many villages ” has this organization.

the Department of health of Torrevieja has always shown its support and commitment to groups and organizations that work for those who most need it, as well, in recent years, has made multiple fundraising campaigns to doctors without borders; collection of Red Cross food and solidarity actions with other groups and causes of different nature.
