Seville, October 2012.- until the end of this year 2012, Ginemed Foundation develops an innovative research to demonstrate that when programs for psychological help accompany biomedical treatments, greatly increase the chances of pregnancy ”, according to the psychologist responsible for the study, Silvina vineyards of Ginemed clinics, entity that collaborates with the Foundation.

The Ginemed Foundation assumes the total cost of the psychological intervention of all the women who participate in this scientific research, valued at 600 euros per participant.

So far, all the data having the benefits of psychological support in the process of assisted reproduction comes from United States research. And these results have to extrapolate to the espanol-andaluz context, with the consequent loss of value.

Program

The psychological intervention of Ginemed clinics program involves participation in eight group psychotherapy sessions that allow you to deal with the experience of pregnancy with an excellent physical and emotional preparation process.

Each session addresses the illusions, concerns, fears, longings and waiting times of the different treatments, by facilitating the acquisition of skills, relaxation techniques and other techniques that are especially positive in the process.

In this study only women may be incorporated to 38 years of age intended to start IVF treatment / IVF-ICSI in the coming months.
