The public health consortium of Aljarafe surgeons published his advances in Surgical Endoscopy journal

Surgery NOTES (natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery) is intended to minimize the damage produced by classical surgery or laparoscopy, by not producing injury in the abdominal wall, thus reducing the pain and the risk of surgical wound infection.

The study object of this publication took place in the center of surgery of minimal invasion (misc) in Cáceres. It describes technical NOTES of use of the holes natural colon surgery, as well as the results obtained in animal product of the study. After the completion of the same, this team of surgeons applied finally successfully technique in patients.
